MEPs

I bumped into my old supervisor in the UL the other day.  I like bumping into him – I always learn lots.  (He’s written various books, should you, too, want learn lots.)  We talked about Europe and how we in Britain need to get off the fence, as it’s rather futile and uncomfortable:  we either need to be in Europe or out (preferably the former).  Anyway, he pointed out that MEPs are vastly more important than they were, and probably vastly more important than MPs are, following the Treaty of Lisbon.

Do you know who your MEP is?
